Breaking Through is an independent buying-guide site for people who want a standing desk in a home office. We compare the options in plain words, so you can pick a desk that suits your room and your budget.
You don't need to know desk jargon to use it. We explain the terms that matter, like lift range, motor type, weight limit and desktop size, as we go.
What we cover
Our guides cover electric standing desks and the parts around them. That includes white, wood and executive desks, extra-wide desks for two monitors, bare frames, rolling desks and desktop converters.
We also write about setup and add-ons, like cable trays, monitor arms, keyboard trays, mats and chairs. New guides are added over time.
How we work
